Changing the Processor for a Store

To change the processor for a store, click the Change Processor button on the My NCR Secure Pay Account page to display the ClosedChange Store Processor page, select the New Processor for the store, enter the information you obtained from the processor for the store in the corresponding fields, and click the Change Processor button.

Before changing processors, ensure that you have compatible hardware. If you are using EMV payment terminals, you may need to do the following:

Change your key setup. This may require shipping the payment terminals to a vendor for reconfiguration. Or, if your payment terminals already have a suitable key configured, you can use the Ingenico Utility to select the appropriate key. See Updating the Encryption Key Index for more information.

Change the firmware version to the appropriate version for your new process. See NCR Secure Pay support for the combinations Counterpoint supports.

When you change a store's processor, the Secure Pay Portal Username and Secure Pay Portal Password for the store will be reset. A message with the new username and password for the store will be sent to your company's Contact Email address.
