Stores) for each of your stores.You can use the legacy device framework or the Device Management framework to configure your payment terminals or Magnetic Stripe Readers (MSRs) for use with NCR Secure Pay. However, to take advantage of point-to-point encryption (P2PE) of card data, you must use the Device Management framework and an encrypted payment terminal or MSR that is supported by NCR Counterpoint.
To enable the Device Management framework, clear the Use
Legacy Device Framework check box on the Main
tab of the Stores
window (Setup > Point of Sale >
Stores) for each of your stores.
Once you have enabled the Device Management framework, use the Device Management window (Setup > Point of Sale > Devices) to configure a payment terminal or MSR for each of your workstations.
