Before you sign up for NCR Secure Pay, make sure you have the following:
NCR Counterpoint V8.4.6.11 or later
The Credit Cards Option for NCR Counterpoint (if you are not processing with RBS WorldPay through the Counterpoint Merchant Program)
An NCR Counterpoint serial number for each of your physical and online stores
You can use NCR Secure Pay at
one or more stores while you continue to use NCR Counterpoint Gateway
(CPGateway) at your other stores. Refer to Using
NCR Secure Pay and CPGateway at Different Stores for more information
about using NCR Secure Pay and CPGateway at different stores simultaneously.
Processor-specific information for each of your stores (e.g., a Merchant ID, Terminal ID, Bank ID, and so forth)
The information you need depends
on the processor you are using, as outlined in the Processor-specific
Information topic. If you do not have one already, you should obtain a
"VAR sheet" from your processor for each of your stores. The
VAR sheet includes all of the processor-specific information you need
to register your store(s) for use with NCR Secure Pay.
When you contact your processor,
make sure to specify that your store's account must be configured to work
with the latest version of Monetra (i.e., version 7.14 or later).
